We all know that saving and investing are difficult. I seems that every time we plan to get on top of our finances, "LIFE" gets in the way! Unexpected bills (emergencies, accidents, household needs, medical costs, birthdays, weddings, parties, vacations, etc.) get in the way. We at Fabulously Fit Folks believe that true mental and spiritual fitness cannot be fully achieved without a stable financial base. That is to say, overall fitness is integrated or symbiotic. You cannot focus on meditation, eating right and working out, if your mind is preoccupied with how you are going to pay your bills. So we developed monetary musing to help our community overcome some of the financial issues that hold us back from our fabulousness!!!

Tips for Retirement Savings

Saving for retirement can be a daunting and easily put off process. But we all must start at some time.  Even is you have little or nothing saved for retirement at this time,  starting today, you are a savings beast! First get into your company's 401k or 403b plan. Or if you are self employed, then open a Self directed IRA.

Once you KNOW ​HOW MUCH YOU OWE! The next Step is to develop a household budget. Make sure that your budget to which you can honestly stick. Be realistic with yourself don't be cheap with your entertainment allotment, when you know you will cheat at the very first opportunity!



Tips for Saving 

an Emergency Fund.

If you have an unused Gym Membership, you are giving away your money!! See if you can cancel or temporarily suspend that membership, then take that money and put it into your EMERGENCY FUND account. When you are ready you can start up again with a workout that you really want to do.
